Can I bring a camera into the American Airlines Center?

Restrictions of still and video cameras vary by event. The event producers determine this policy and not American Airlines Center. Please check the event detail page under special information for the concert or family show that you are attending.

Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars allow cameras without flash at games. Professional cameras (cameras that have a lens 3 or 6 inches in length) are not allowed in American Airlines Center unless accompanied by proper media credentials for Dallas Mavericks and all concerts. Dallas Stars allow cameras of any size, as long as they are not placed on a tripod.

Audio and video cameras are strictly prohibited at all events at American Airlines Center.

What time do doors open for each event?

The time the doors to the American Airlines Center open will vary according to the event. The typical times are noted below. Please check the event's detail page for the exact time the doors open.

Mavericks Fan shop doors open two hours prior to game time. All other doors open one and one half hour prior to game time.
Stars All doors open one and one half hour prior to game time.
Concerts Doors open one hour prior to the event unless otherwise specifically noted


Can I bring food or drinks into the arena?

Guest are not permitted to bring any food or drinks into the American Airlines Center. Containers such as bottles, cans, thermos bottles or plastic coolers are not permitted for the safety of our guests.

I am attending an event with someone who is disabled. How do I access disabled parking and can I get a wheelchair escort?

Handicapped parking is available in Lot F on All-Star Way. Wheelchair escorts are provided through Guest Relations. Please ask any American Airlines Center Team Member for assistance. To arrange services in advance, please call 214-665-4211.

What time is the box office opened?

American Airlines Center Box Office is a walk-up facility only and is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and during events. The box office opens two hours prior to each event. The box office is located on the corner of All-Star Way and North Houston Street across from the Platinum Garage. Visitors to the North Box Office may park in parking lot F for 15-minutes, up to 2 hours prior to the start of each event. Lot F is located on the north side of American Airlines Center, on All-Star Way.

What age does my child have to be to require a ticket?

For all events, children ages two and above require a ticket.

Where can I hail a cab?

The best place to get a cab is on the West side of the building on Valor Place. Valor Place is also the ideal location for guest pick up and drop off.

I would like to have my relative's name on the electronic signage at one of the Mavericks or Stars games for his birthday. How do I go about doing that?

I would like to make dinner reservations at the Audi Club, who do I need to call?

Audi Club privileges include on-call reservations availability, but please be advised space is limited. Advanced reservations may be made by calling 214-665-4753 or e-mailing reservations@americanairlinescenter.com.

Will your parking attendees accept cash?

All parking lots at American Airlines Center accept cash. Pre-paid parking passes may be purchased for concerts and family shows at all Ticketmaster outlets or charged by phone through Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000.
