Fleetwood Mac have announced a North American reunion tour. As expected, it will be the band's first trek since singer-keyboardist Christine McVie rejoined the group after a 16-year absence.
Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and McVie made the announcement on NBC's "Today" show on Thursday. This will be McVie's first time on the road with the band since 1998's The Dance tour.
Billboard confirmed with Mac's publicist in January that McVie had rejoined the band and that a tour announcement "for the full tilt Macsters" was in the works. Fans had been teased with a possible McVie reunion since September 2013, when word first broke that she was going to rejoin her bandmates for a pair of concerts in London. She appeared with the band -- for just one song ("Don't Stop") each night -- on Sept. 25 and 27 at the O2 Arena.
