Fan Safety Guidelines

Please Note:

  • Face masks are required for all guests ages 2 and up, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. Face masks must be worn at all times while at American Airlines Center except when actively eating and drinking in your ticketed seat.  
  • Wristlet, clutch or wallet 4.5''x6.5'' allowed at all entrances. Purses no larger than 14''x14''x6'' will be allowed at designated X-ray entry points. No backpack or large totes allowed. Medical bags and parenting bags are also permitted. All permitted bags are subject to search. 

Dallas Mavericks Games Covid-19 Protocols

DUE TO NBA PROTOCOLS, FANS AGE 2 (TWO) & UP SEATED WITHIN 15 FT OF COURT (COURTSIDE) MUST SUBMIT PROOF OF NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST ADMINISTERED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF ENTRY OR FULL VACCINATION STATUS VIA MAVSCHECKIN.COM.

ALL OTHER FANS WILL NO LONGER BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A FAN HEALTH SURVEY PRIOR TO ENTRY. 

MASKS WILL BE ENFORCED FOR ALL FANS AGE 2 AND UP, REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS.

Fans NOT Within 15 ft of Court

Entry requirements have been lifted for fans NOT within 15 ft of the court and a Fan Health Survey is no longer needed.

Health Screening - Courtside Fans within 15ft of the court ONLY

Due to NBA protocols, all fans age 2 & up seated within 15 ft of court (SEE BELOW) must comply to entry requirements outlined by showing proof of negative COVID-19 test or full vaccination status.

  1. Upload proof of negative COVID-19 test administered by a licensed facility within 48 hours of entry or full vaccination status to MavsCheckIn.com for for all fans age 2 & up.
  2. Courtside fans can conveniently enter AAC through one of the following designated areas to obtain their Courtside wristband:
  • If you park in Lot A or Yellow Lot – Media Entrance, west side of AAC.
  • If you park in Gold Parking – Gold Parking Entrance, accessible via the Gold Parking Garage.
  • If you park in The Lexus Garage or any other location – Jack Daniels Patio on southeast corner of AAC.

Mask Policy

In accordance with the Dallas County mask order, masks (covering your nose and mouth) are required and enforced for all fans ages 2 and up, unless actively eating or drinking in assigned seat, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.

Mobile Tickets & Parking Passes

Dallas Mavericks tickets and pre-purchased parking passes will again be fully mobile this season. You can access your tickets and passes through the Dallas Mavs app or your Ticketmaster account.

5/8/22 J Balvin Concert Covid-19 Protocols

We are very excited about having J Balvin back on tour. The Jose Tour 2022 promises to be an out of this world tour and we have instituted COVID-19 safety protocols to promote the health and safety of all our fans, crew and working personnel.  

In order to gain entry to the concert venue, all guests will be required to show a negative COVID-19 test result within 72-hours of the show or proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.People are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19: two weeks or more after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna or other vaccine authorized by the World Health Organization), or two weeks or more after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson/Janssen).

COVID-19 PCR and antigen tests are acceptable. Proof negative test or vaccination can be presented in the form of: (1) negative test result (taken within 72-hours of show) or a photo of the vaccine card on a phone; or (2) the hard copy of the negative test result (taken within 72-hours of show) or physical vaccination card. Please continue to check back as the concert date approaches, as this information may change (e.g. based on guidance from public health officials).

Arena Entry

Guests will go through a minimal-contact security screening.

Cleaning Protocols

High touch surfaces and heavily trafficked areas within American Airlines Center will be continuously cleaned and disinfected throughout events.  After every event, all spaces and seating areas will go through an additional rigorous disinfection process. 

Elevators & Escalators

Elevators and escalators will be available for use. Eight guests plus elevator attendant allowed per elevator. Elevator and escalator touchpoints will be sanitized regularly.

Face Coverings/Face Masks

Face masks are required for all guests ages 2 and up, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. Face masks must be worn at all times while at American Airlines Center except when actively eating and drinking in your ticketed seat.  Face masks are also required for all AAC staff, regardless of COVID-19 vacinnation status.   

 

Food & Beverage

Food & beverage operations will maintain the highest standards of compliance with current health and safety regulations. 

  • Cashless transactions only. 
  • Food and beverage items will be covered when served.
  • Condiments, utensils, and straws will be provided in individual packets upon request.
  • All contact surfaces will be cleaned in between guest transactions.
  • Food and drink is to only be consumed once the guest has returned to their seat and face coverings can be safely (and temporarily) removed.

American Airlines Center has achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation, the gold standard for prepared facilities. Under the guidance of GBAC, a Division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, American Airlines Center has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention in its facility. Parking

We recommend pre-purchasing parking prior to arrival at ParkWhiz.com.  If you have pre-purchased, leave your window rolled up as you approach parking attendant.  Parking attendant will scan your mobile parking ticket on your phone through your window. 

If guests have not pre-purchased parking, some lots may be available to purchase at arrival.  All parking transactions are credit card & debit card only. 

Restrooms

Restrooms will be sanitized and cleaned frequently. Guests should wash their hands before returning to their seats.

Staff

All staff must be fever and symptom-free. Staff are required to wear face masks at all times while at American Airlines Center except when actively eating and drinking on break.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside of American Airlines Center. Guests can smoke at Jack Daniels Old No. 7 Club Patio and ULTRA Club Patio. All guests must be re-screened prior to entry back into the building.

Ticketing

All tickets will be digital and available on guests’ mobile devices. Tickets purchased from American Airlines Center, Dallas Mavericks or Dallas Stars will be available through the Ticketmaster and American Airlines Center mobile apps.

COVID-19 Warning

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By attending any event at American Airlines Center, you assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or a bacteria, virus, or other pathogens capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, however, caused or contracted, and voluntarily waive all claims and potential claims against American Airlines Center, Center Operating Company, LP, Dallas Stars, Arena Operating Company, Inc., Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, event promoters, vendors, and their affiliated companies, and any of their respective present and future subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, members, officers, directors, employees, stakeholders, shareholders, agents, other representatives, successors and assigns event promoters, vendors, and their affiliated companies relating to such risks.
